Update on the Middle East Collaboration Study

UCPREF celebrates the successful conclusion of phase 1 of the Middle East Collaboration study of intensive therapy for children with CP. Researchers from Palestine, Israel and Jordan are CROSSING (Regional, Political, Religious and Scientific) BORDERS to answer the question: "How can we most effectively treat children with Cerebral Palsy?"

United Cerebral Palsy Research and Education Foundation (UCPREF) is pleased to present a wonderful collaboration with Six Flags Theme Parks of America, called, " Hope Through Research Day”.

Six Flags has generously agreed to donate a percentage of each ticket sold for the event days through a special code, to our foundation. We applaud Six Flags for their vision and this ground breaking project.

February 7, 2007

Our event on February 7, 2007 at 7 PM at the Pierre Hotel in NYC was a great success. We honored former President of the United Cerebral Palsy Research and Educational Foundation Board of Directors Fred Joseph. Leon Black Chaired the event and our Vice-Chairs were Loreen Arbus, Jerome Belson and PJ Moses.

The "Celebration of Cerebral Palsy Research," Thursday December 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Metropolitan Club in Washington DC was a tremendous success. HRH Prince Firas Raad of Jordan and his wife Princess Dana Firas were honored as well as the Honorable Margaret Giannini, MD, FAAP for their work in promoting research aimed at preventing and curing developmental disabilities in children.
