For Immediate Release:
United Cerebral Palsy Research and Education Foundation (UCPREF) is pleased to present a wonderful collaboration with Six Flags Theme Parks of America, called, " Hope Through Research Day”.
Six Flags has generously agreed to donate a percentage of each ticket sold for the event days through a special code, to our foundation.
We applaud Six Flags for their vision and this ground breaking project. We also acknowledge that they make their parks accessible to those physically challenged, so that many of our children are able to enjoy the magic of Six Flags.
Our dream is that one day, UCPREF'S incredible research team will find a cure for Cerebral Palsy; in the meantime, we are supporting research internationally to find best treatment strategies for people with CP of all ages, to maximize function, ability and access. Our vision is to see that all of our children are able to live their lives unencumbered by neurological impairment.
We invite you to join us June 3rd, or June 10th, 2007(varied by city), to see that we fund these new discoveries, so that in our lifetime, children and adults with CP will walk through not just Six Flags, but the world, free and able.
